Bob Perry 28' "Kaitlin Ann"

How much fun and nostalgia can you pack into one boat?
Well, “Kaitlin Ann” is the “Cats Meow”.

Kaitlin Ann Under Construction

Not only is she a modern design by Bob Perry, but also Schooner Creek built her utilizing the “COVE” system of construction a system that assures years of enjoyment with little maintenance.

Yes, she is of real wood, but also uses a foam core and a significant amount of carbon fiber. All the wood you see is covered in a light layer of fiberglass and epoxy and clear coated to protect it.

She was built for a Seattle customer who contacted yacht designer Bob Perry to create a 50's vintage runabout with the ability to take on waves and chop in her stride.

The construction needed to be modern and incredibly strong to take high-speed runs in Lake Washington and Puget Sound. The finished product from Schooner Creek far exceeds the expectations in both strength and detail of finish.

“I have not seen anything built in the states or even Europe that comes close.” It is statements like these that so often are heard when Schooner Creek Boats are being discussed.

“Kaitlin Ann” is 28’ in overall length and powered with a MPI 502 giving her a top speed of 40 mph in sensual luxury.
